Do joining agencies have to give up their established identity as an independent agency? |

NO. Each UAII Member is an independent agency, individually owned and operated. UAII is not a franchise or cluster. You do not become part of the Master Agency, but rather a strategic partner with the purpose of growing and perpetuating your independent agency. |

Does UAII service the ISM's client after the sale? |

No. Each member agency services their own clients. By retaining all contact with the client, members will strengthen the customer relationship. |

What are the responsibilities of the Master Agency? |

After recruiting the Independent Strategic Member (ISM) Agency, the Master Agency makes available it's partner markets to the ISM. It also provides support and mentoring for the ISM in all areas of agency development as needed. |

Who is SIAA? |

SIAA is a national insurance alliance comprised of Master Agencies throughout the country. These Master Agencies recruit and support Independent Strategic Member (ISM) agencies within their marketing area. UAII is a Master Agent of SIAA. |

Why was UAII created and affiliated with the SIAA? |

UAII was created to help the independent agency achieve the appointments and clout that have become necessary for their survival. This alliance provides that clout through the aggregating of premium volume. We can also provide agency technology and agency management assistance as desired. |
