What Is A Master Agency?

UAII is a Master Agency serving independent agents in Central Indiana.  UAII is one of the more than 50 Master Agencies throughtout the continental 48 states and Canada that covers approximately 200 individual territories.

The concept leading to the establishment of SIAA was originally developed in 1983 in the New Hampshire area.  The original "Agent's Network", called SAN, was built by an agency owner, Jim Masiello.  Masiello is still active in the SIAA program.

As a result of the tremendous success of the original network, SIAA was created in 1995 to replicate this "success story" in other states by utilizing successful agents in each state to serve as "Master Agencies" in their respective geographic territories.

Currently, the SIAA network has grown to include 200 Master Agency Territories with more than 2,500 Independent Strategic Members (ISM) agencies.  The premium volume represented is over $5.1 billion in written premiums.

UAII became a SIAA Master Agency in October of 2000.  The UAII Group's aggregate premium volume is in excess of $36,000,000.00.
