UAII Group

Underwriters Alliance of Indiana's mission is the creation, retention and growth of the local Independent Agency distribution system in Central Indiana.  We seek aggressive agencies who possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

UAII was formed by Connolly Ford Leppert, Inc. working directly with its national partner, Strategic Independent Agents Alliance (SIAA).  Connolly Ford Leppert, Inc. is a twenty-four year old independant insurance agency located in Indianapolis.

We offer Independent Agencies the ability, and help enable them, to remain independent, gain new markets, generate additional income and receive profit sharing without having to sell, merge or cluster.  Additionally, UAII serves as a "resource" for smaller agencies in all areas of agency development.

The SIAA

The SIAA concept originated in New England with SAN Group in 1983 in response to changes in the independent agency system. 

At the time, many local agencies were finding that it was impossible to meet volume requirements, keep markets and survive.

SIAA allows the local independent agent to remain independent, keep existing markets while gaining new ones, generate additional income and receive profit sharing.
